Prismatic Pisces; Artisan, Craftsman, and Digital Artist
The amount of titles I could have given myself is endless. I have been creating works of art since I was old enough to pick up a crayon. No piece of paper was safe after I turned 3. If anyone in my family wanted to keep their stationery or art supplies safe from me, they definitely had to hide it well. Especially if it was tape.

My talent first got discovered at the ripe age of 9. I made a clay bunny in a clay basket at school and my teacher put it in the district art show. I was so proud. I had a big head from that day on about my art. In High School I took about 12 art classes all together. I basically had everyday in High School. I receive awards from Schoolastics and from The Anton Art Center. I even had my artwork featured in the St. Clair Shores Little Blue Book!
Then after I graduated High School, I hated art. I was so sick of it, I didn't do anything art related for about 2 years. The most I did was I drew the specials sign at the restaurant I worked at. After a while I was really itching to be creative. I learned and tried so many different skills. Crochet, clay, candle making and body care, makeup, you name it, i tried it. I was good at all these things, but i didnt love doing them. I realized I wasn't going to find anything as good for me as making traditional art. I didn't hate art. I was just burnt out of it. Slowly i started picking back up old habbits and techniques. Looking at art in a whole knew perspective. I realized my problem was I just didnt like what I was making in school. My last year of high school I was supposed to be building my portfolio so I could get into art school (i didnt do either of those things). So everything was following a prompt or displaying certain principles and elements. I just wanted to draw what I wanted, and I coudn't. But now I can! That's where Prismatic Pisces comes in!

Prismatic Pisces started as just stickers. Growing up my door was covered in stickers that I collected over the years. So thats what I wanted my business to be about. And it involves drawing, so it was perfect. In 2021 I started making stickers while having a regular 9-5 job. Starting out I just made stickers for my friends and co-workers really, but everyone loved them! Later on in August of 2023 I lost that job. Ever since I've been trying to make my art career a reality. I didnt want to limit myself to just stickers though. So I chose to use all of the skills I've learned over the years! Crafting, sewing, crochet, clay, jewlery, painting, drawing, fine arts; all these skills are showcased on this website! My 8 years of customer service, 3 years of store management, and my rock solid ability to use computers (thanks to school and previous jobs) made me a great candidate to own an online store!
